Royal Academy of Dance (RAD)
Founded in 1920, the RAD has grown to become the largest examining and training body for dance ballet in the world.
The examinations are recognised worldwide and RAD is taught in more than 70 countries meeting the highest standards of dance training. The syllabus is devised with great care, demanding no more of a young body than it can easily cope with.
American Jazz Dance Affiliation (AJDA)
Founded by Mary Evers – originally known as the Dupree Syllabus when Mary worked with Roland Dupree from Los Angeles. The Syllabus was launched in NZ and became a huge success.
AJDA offers a strong support network to teachers, sharing knowledge and experiences in teaching and choreography.
The syllabus incorporates the styles of Funk, Hip hop, Lyrical and Musical Theatre, focusing on strength, technique, flexibility and performance.
Theatrical Dance International (TDI)
TDI is an Australasian Association formed for the teachers and students of the 21st Century.
This Tap syllabus is designed to create an interest and the “love of dance” in young people today.
